MAN FINED IN ENGLAND. UNDER DEFENCE REGULATIONS. By Telegraph—Press Association —Copyright. LONDON, June 5. The first case of its kind, under the new Defence Regulations was heard at Mansfield, when Sidney Hawkins House, aged 50, was fined £lO for repeating what he allegedly heard Lord Hawhaw broadcast relating to the occupation of Mansfield schools. The Ministry of Information confirmed that accused's story regarding the broadcast was untrue.
