THEFT CHARGE

ARREST IN MASTERTON THIS MORNING.

Arrested by Detective-Sergeant W. Kane in Maslerton this morning, William James Webster appeared later in the Magistrates Court before Messrs R. Krahngen and L. J. Taylor. J’s.P., on a charge of theft at Christchurch hi April.

1 he accused was remanded to appear on June 13. Bail was allowed in accused's own recognisance of £5O. a condition being that he reports daily to the police.
