Mr Mackenzie King, in the House of Commons, said Canadians had relieved British troops in the West Indies. Canadian destroyers were serving in British waters. Some Royal Navy ships in Canadian waters and also a lighter squadron with planes were proceeding to England. Planes bought in England by Canada, some cn route, were being returned to Britain.
