SEVEN PEOPLE INJURED
CARS IN COLLISION. ACCIDENT NEAR OTOROHANGA. (By Telegraph—Press Association.) AUCKLAND. June 3. Seven people were admitted to Waikato Hospital in consequence of a collision which occurred between two cars on a bend on the main south road near Otorohanga cemetery tonight. One car was occupied by six members of the Royal New Zealand Air Force who were returning to their base at New Plymouth after visiting Auckland. Their car capsized and three of the occupants were injured. Ronald Arthur received head and leg injuries: Mcßride fractured several ribs, and Mervyn Lunn received head injuries.
The second car. driven by Mr Stewart Ward. Te Kuiti, was travelling northward. He was accompanied by Mr J. Davidson and two daughters of Mr W. Lee, Waitomo. Messrs Ward and Davidson received head injuries and Misses Lee suffered from bruising and shock.
