UNIVERSITY DEBATERS

AUSTRALIANS TO VISIT MASTERTON.

The New Zealand University Students’ Association is proceeding with arrangements made before the outbreak of war to bring a team of two Australian University debaters to New Zealand. The team, which consists of Messrs D. Campbell, 8.A., of Queensland, and A. M. Jenkins, of Sydney, will arrive in Masterton late on Tuesday afternoon, June 11, and depart on Thursday morning, June 13. On the evening of Wednesday, June 12, in the Wairarapa College Assembly Hall, they will take part in a debate open to the public against a local team. Clubs and societies wishing to make use of the lecturing abilities of the visitors are asked to get in touch as soon as possible with the Principal of the Wairarapa College.
