V.A.D’S. RELEASED
TO JOIN NURSING RESERVE IN BRITAIN. STAFFING OF EMERGENCY HOSPITALS. By Telegraph—Press Association—Copyright. (Received This Day. 12.55 p.m.) LONDON, June 2. The War Office has consented to release a large number of V.A.D’s. from their Army obligations to enable them to join the civil nursing reserve, in view of the need for enlarged staffs in emergency hospitals for service and air raid casualties.
