VERY HEAVY BOMBS DROPPED IN COASTAL AREAS.
(Received This Day, 9.40 a.m.) LONDON, June 2
The Paris radio said the R.A.F. had broken all records during the past twenty-four hours, in bringing down nearly one hundred planes. The French Air Force had continued their attacks, dropping very heavy bombs around Nieuport and Ostend; also bombing enemy communications, railway lines and troop concentrations in the Dunkirk sector.
