SEWING CIRCLES

GARMENTS FOR SICK AND

WOUNDED.

On the first and third Thursday of every month the Nursing Division of the St John Ambulance Auxiliary is to hold sewing circles with the object of making garments for the sick and wounded who are invalided back to New Zealand. The convenors are Mesdames P. G. Ramsay. Tagg and A. W. Thompson (secretary).

The Masterton Townswomen’s Guild is co-operating and other women prepared to sew will be welcomed. Donations of old linen are needed. The first sewing day will be next Thursday and the venue is the Sketch Club Rooms in Bannister Street.
