Miss Q. Te Maari, of Pirinoa, is staying with Mr and Mrs Murphy, Mount Bruce.
Mrs Kennedy, of Lyall Bay, is visiting her daughter, Mrs Wells, Coradine Street, Masterton.
Mrs A. O'Cane, of Auckland, who has been visiting her parents, Mr and Mrs H. M. Morton, Lansdowne, has returned home.
Mr and Mrs C. R. Foreman, of Woodville, have taken up residence in Martinborough. Mr Foreman, who is well known throughout the Wairarapa, has taken over the Town Hall pictures in Martinborough. The official hostesses for the Charity Ball which is to take place in the Wellington Town Hall next Wednesday are Mrs P. Lynch, Mrs C. R. Burns, Mrs J. R. McClune and Mrs Bernard O’Connell. More than 50 debutantes will be presented to his Grace Archbishop O’Shea.
