Owing to the cancellatoin of the King’s Birthday holiday, the Railway Department will observe the ordinary timetable on Friday and Monday next. The arrangements for the long night dance in the Municipal Hall on Monday are well in hand. Considerable interest is being displayed in the waltzing competitions, which will take place st 9.30 o’clock. Two silver cups have been donated for the winners, and the judging will be in the hands of Mr Gordon Challis. The floor is being specially prepared for the dance.
