WELLINGTON MARKET PRICES. (By Telegraph—Press Association.) WELLINGTON, This Day. Prices of fruit and vegetables in the Wellington market this week are quoted as follows: — Quinces, 5s to 9s 6d a case; cape gooseberries, 7s 6d a case; Chinese gooseberries, 9s io 12s a j-case; grapes, hothouse, Is 9d to 2s 9d a lb; passion fruit, 9s to 12s a J-case; tree tomatoes, 5s to 8s 6d a J-case. Toipatoes, hothouse, 12s to 17s a £- case; grapefruit, 10s to 14s a bushel case.
Potatoes, 4s to 7s a cwt; onions, 4s to 11s a cental bag; kumeras, 6s to 10s a sugar-bag; beans, hothojuse, lOd to Is a lb; green peas, 12s to 30s a sack. Cabbage, 3s to 7s 6d a sack; lettuce, Is to 4s a case; sprouts, 10s to 17s a sugar-bag; pie melons, 4s to 5s a sack; cauliflowers, 5s to 11s 9d a sack; silver beet, 6d to 2s a case; spinach, 2s 6d to 9s a case; marrows, Is 6d to 3s a case; pumpkins, 3s to 5s a sack. Carrots, 3s to 7s 3d a case; swedes, 2s to 4s 6d a case; parsnips, 4s to 7s a case; beetroot, Is 6d to 2s 6d a case; leeks, 3s 6d to 5s 6d a case; celery, 3s to 8s a case; rhubarb, 8s to 16s a dozen bunches.
