DAY’S PAY TO PATRIOTIC FUND.

The employees at Messrs T. Borthwick and Sons’ Waingawa Works decided at a meeting at noon today io give the whole of their pay today to she Red Cross and St. John Appeal Fund. The amount will reach a substantial sum. This follows on the action of the firm’s Waitara employees who some time ago were the first in New Zealand to make such a gesture, donating £526.
