MISSING AIRMAN

OLD BOY OF CHRISTCHURCH TECHNICAL COLLEGE. (By Telegraph—Press Association.) CHRISTCHURCH, This Day. Pilot-Officer. A. Wickham, son of Mr R. 11. Wickham. 345 Armagh Street, Christchurch, is reported missing by the Air Ministry. Receiving his final training at Wigram, Pilot-Officer Wickham left New Zealand, to join the Royal Air Force in England, on June 14, 1939. Since the outbreak of war he has been serving in France, where he has been flying a’ Fairey battle dive bomber. A student of the Christchurch Technical College. Pilot-Officer Wickham took a great interest in the school activities, being school librarian, secretary of the Chess Club and a member of the Dramatic Club. ■
