DEFENCE OF BOULOGNE

BRITISH WARSHIPS CRUSH GERMAN COLUMNS. GUNS FIRE OVER CITY. (Received Thsi Day. 10.55 a.m.) FARIS, May 26. It is officially announced that the Allies are holding Calais and Dunkirk firmly and also the citadel at Boulogne. British warships, firing over Boulogne, crushed several German panzer columns approaching the coast. The enemy attacked the outskirts of Boulogne till the British Navy intervened.
