Mr and Mrs H. H. Mawley, Bagshot, Wangaehu, are visiting Rotorua. Mr and Mrs P. H. Nathan, Llandaff, Masterton, are staying at Rotorua. Mr and Mrs J. W. Perry, ‘’Brentwood," Upper Plain, are visiting Napier.
Miss E. Sheriff is a Wellington visitor at the Prince of Wales Hotel, Masterton.
Miss Patricia Hall, of Kelburn, is the guest of Mrs Gordon Smith, Hamua.
Mr and Mrs A. Vaughan, of Pahiatua, and formerly of Masterton, are on a visit to Napier. Mr and Mrs N. Simmons, Wellington, are at the Prince of Wales Hotel, Masterton.
Mrs Edith Wright, a former well known Woodville singer, has died at Palmerston North. Miss McFarlane and Miss Dempsey, of Wellington, paid a short visit to Masterton. this week.
Miss R. M. Couper, Wellington, is staying at the Prince of Wales Hotel, Masterton.
Miss Butement, Essex Street, Masterton, who has been visiting Palmerston North and Bulls, has returned to Masterton.
Mrs Alister Buchanan, who has been staying with Mrs Lord, Essex Street, Masterton, has returned to New Plymouth.
The death occurred recently of Mrs W. I. Lovelock, of Gisborne, and formerly of Palmerston .North, and who was well known in Masterton.
