PUBLIC NOTICE. MAURICEVILLE COUNTY COUNCIL. GENERAL RATES, 1940/41. AJOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN, pursuant to Section 54 of “The Rating Act. 1925,” that it is the intention of the Mauriceville County Council, at its next meeting, to be held on MONDAY, at 11 a.m., the 10th day of June, 1940, at the County Office, Mauriceville, to make and levy a GENERAL RATE OF ONE AND FIVE-EIGHTHS OF A PENNY IN THE £ on the Capital Value of all Rateable property in the County of Mauriceville for the year ending the 31st day of March, 1941. AND ALSO to collect sufficient of the Annual Recurring Special Rates in respect of the several Special Rating Areas in the said County, to provide for the payment of the Annual Instalments and Interest on several Special Loans raised in respect of those Areas, AND NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN THAT all such rates shall become payable on the 12th day of July, 1940, at the County Office, or at my office, Leecroft Chambers, Masterton, and that the Valuation Rolls are open for inspection. ESTIMATE OF EXPENDITURE. PURSUANT to the Provisions of Sec-i tion 2. Subsection 4. of the Counties’ Act, 1931.
