INDOOR BASKETBALL
EXHIBITION GAMES TONIGHT. The following are the players to represent the various teams in the games to be played in the Municipal Hall tonight, at 7.30 o’clock, prior to the Interhouse dance: — Hugo & Shearer’s.—Misses G. Bacon, B. Vernier, M. Baskiville, V. Hendry, B. Vincent, F. Bellis. Woolworth’s: Misses A. Burgess, P. Hanley, R. Harding, G. Harding, V. Phillips, A. Stains. Stock and Station Agents: Misses . J. Gemmell, M. Brady, I. Palmer, B. Linton; C. Butler, M. Eastwood. .W.F.C.A.: Misses M. Gadsby, C. Wright, M. Truscott, A. Keisenberg, N. Snowsill, J. Palmer. Men. —D. Costello, W. Wilson, D. Leete, J. Dickson, F. Bodie; reserves, S. Faulknor, A. Read, J. Harrington. Mormon Elders: Lynn, Frater, Wheelwright, Maw, Grant, Bodell. The first ladies’ game will be between Hugo and Shearer’s and Woolworth’s, and the second between Stock and Station Agents and W.F.C.A. The spectators will be assured of an excellent display in the men’s game, when the Mormons, Wellington’s leading team, will play the Wairarapa representative side. Basketball at its best should be in evidence in all the games.
