WELLINGTON WELLINGTON. This Day. Stock Exchange sale reported: Broken Hill Proprietary, £2 4s. The head office in London of the Zinc Corporation has advised by cable thfit the directors have declared a final participating dividend of Is 6d per share, English currency, on both ordinary and perference shares, less income tax of 4s 9d in the pound, making a total distribution for 1939 of 7s per share on participating preference shares, and 3s per share on ordinary shares. The directors have also declared a dividend at the rate of 2s a share. English currency, on preference shares, less income tax of 4s 2cl in the pound, being the fixed preferential dividend for the first six months of 1940. These dividends are payable on June 28 to shareholders on the London and Melbourne registers.
