The Press grows more insulting towards the Allies, portraying the British as fleeing, deserting the Belgians and French and sacking shops en route.
Signor Mussolini conferred with the Supreme Defence Commission. The University Senate, comprising professors and students, sent a message to Signor Mussolini demanding that he fight for liberty and the independence of Italy.
