WOMEN’S INSTITUTE
MEETING AT MT. BRUCE
COMPETITION RESULTS. Mrs H. West presided at the monthly meeting of the Mt Bruce Women s Institute, when members were much interested in a talk by Miss Hazel Johnson on food conservation.
The competitions were won as follows: Best scones. Mrs J. Campbell 1, Miss O. Campbell 2; blooms, Mrs D. McLachlan (rose) 1.
Arrangements were made for members to assist with a Red Cross dance to be held in the Masonic Hall on May 23.
