NEW APPOINTMENT IN A.M.P. SOCIETY. The A.M.P. Society announces the appointment of Mr D. A. Ewen to the New Zealand Local Board to fill the vacancy caused by the resignation of Colonel N. S. Fall:). C.M.G.. D. 5.0.. V.D. Mr D. A. Ewen is managing director of Sargood. Son & Ewen. Ltd., and amongst his many activities he is president ol' the N.Z. Academy of Fine Arts. Wellington District Governor (for the second time) of Rotary for New Zealand, and an ex-member of the executive of Associated Chambers of Commerce of New Zealand, also of the Wellington Chamber of Commerce Council.

Colonel Falla is engaged in very important war work abroad and -is Base Commandant of the New Zealand Expeditionary Force, overseas base. His absence from New Zealand is for an indefinite period and he has deemed it advisable to resign his seat on the Society’s directorate.
