SLIPPERS ONLY
APPEAL TO GERMAN WORKERS. SAVING LEATHER FOR STREET WEAR. (Received This Day. 12.10 p.m.) BERLIN, May 20. The Government has appealed to workers in factories and offices to remove their shoes and work in felt slippers. Leather footwear is henceforth to be permissible only in the streets.
