STUD PIG SALE
PURCHASES BY WAIRARAPA BREEDERS.
At the annual sale of Large Black end Large White pigs on account of Mr G. M. Whitelock, and of Large White pigs on account of Mr B. E. Keiller, both of Palmerston North, Mr W. H. Benson, of Masterton, purchased three sows, two at 12gns., and one at 13£gns. Mr N. Myers (Mauriceville) purchased a boar for lOJgns., and Mi J. Hicks (Matarawa) a sow for 'logns. The top-priced Large White sow was purchased for a Victorian client at 36 gns. The sale of Large Blacks averaged just under 9.|gns., and that ol Large Whites almost 11 gns.
