LEAGUE OF MOTHERS

PUPBET SHOW FOR CHILDREN

The monthly meeting of the Masterton League of Mothers was held in the Parish Hall yesterday, the president Mrs L. B. Maunscll. being in the chair.

After the League hymn and prayer and a special prayer tor peace. Mis Maunscll welcomed the very large attendance of members, friends and children.

The meeting took the form of a puppet show, given especially for the benefit of the children, by Mrs Heyman, ri Lower Hutt. Judging by the shouts cl laughter and happy expressions ol 'he children present her show was greatly appreciated. A hearty vote of thanks was carried by the parents and children at the conclusion of her entertainment.

The tea hostesses were Mesdames Blackwood. Heath. Lee, Major and Brown.
