The Stock Exchange Association has received advice from Australian Consolidated Industries that the directors intend to recommend that the following dividends be declared for the halfyear ended March 31, 1940: 41 per cent on preference shares, making a tola! of nine per cent for the year; 31 per cent on fully-paid ordinary shares, making seven per cent for the year and 31 per cent on the amount of 4s per share paid on September 30 in respect of capital on contributing ordinary shares. The dividends will be payable on June 26.
