HOSTILITY TO ALLIES
DEMONSTRATIONS STOPPED LN ROME DEPARTURE OF AMERICANS. ADVISED BY AMBASSADOR. In Rome the authorities have stopped demonstrations against the Allies, Daventry states. The U.S.A. Ambassador has warned 20,000 Americans to leave while they can. The Italian Minister of Communications states that Italy has made a test mobilisation of transport facilities. The Allied fleet has sailed from Alexandria and the evacuation of two districts on the frontier of Egypt with Italian Libya is taking place.
