The Belgian Government has issued a proclamation: “The defeat of our northern neighbours has not discouraged us. Our Army, supported by our British and French Allies, is stubbornly resisting. Belgium cannot be defeated.” A Belgian radio message announced that the Government and the Allied Embassies are remaining in Brussels.
