WOMEN’S DIVISION

RANGITUMAU BRANCH. (“Times-Age” Special.) Mrs D. M. James presided over the monthly meeting of the Rangitumau branch of the Women’s Division of the Farmers’ Union which was held in the. hall. There was a small attendance of members, while several visitors from other districts were present. The competitions were won as follow: —Shortbread: Mrs Duckett, 1. One bloom: Mrs Wrigley, 1; Mrs James, 2. Three blooms: Mrs Duckett, 1; Mrs Wrigley, 2. The competition for next month is an eggless .cake. Each member is requested to bring some article of clothing for a refugee child from 6 to 8 years.

The next meeting is to be held at the residence of the president, Mrs James.
