On the receipt in New Zealand of the news of the German invasion of Holland, Belgium and Luxemburg, members of Cabinet assembled at 8 o'clock last evening, and. on the invitation of the Prime Minister, Mr P. Fraser, met M Armande Nihotte. consul of Belgium and Luxemburg, and M Vigeveno. acting-consul of the Netherlands. and discussed the situation with them. The Prime Minister expressed to the consuls the sympathy of the Government and people of New Zealand and assured them of the fullest co-opera-tion in what is now the common cause.
