ART UNION DRAWN FIRST PRIZE TO WELLINGTON. SUCCESS O FNORTH ISLAND TICKET-HOLDERS. (By Telegraph—Press Association.) WELLINGTON, This Day. A feature of the drawing of "I'm a Winner" Art Union in the Masonic Hall. Wellington, last night, was the success of North Island ticket-holders. The first prize of £2OOO was drawn by a Wellington butt believed to have been sold at the Centennial Exhibition. The third prize also went to a Wellington ticket holder. Results are: — First Prize, £2OOO. 772.31, “O For a Nice Cup of Tea,” Wellington. Second Prize, £lOOO. 150962, “Two Old Hags,” Christchurch. Third Prize, £5OO. 107587, “Tongchat,” Lyall Bay. Fourth Prize, £4OO. 96162, Mr Matt Handley, Paeroa. Fifth Prize, £3OO. 96595, “The Kid,” Te Aroha. Sixth Prize, £2OO. 48401, “Anzac,” Christchurch. Seventh Prize, £lOO. 33194, A Crompton, Rai Valley, Nelson. A five pound prize was won by “Two Mugs” (Masterton).
