Two Sydney men. both sub-lieuten-ants. arc among the survivors from his Majesty’s trawlers Gaul and Saini Goran, lost during the operations in Norway. Both are members of a batch of reservists who recently arrived from Australia.

After being bombed and machinegunned every few hours for several days of the Norwegian coast, the crews took shelter in the woods, but even there were subject to continual ma-chine-gun and bomb attacks.
