WAIKINO MURDER
CARTMAN IN COURT IN AUCK LAND.
ANOTHER REMAND GRANTED.

With only a few onlookers presell* in the Police Court, Douglas Herbert Cartman, a trucker, aged 22. who was arrested at Waihi on May 1. was charged this morning, before Mr. C. R. Orr Walker, that on April 2. at Waikino. he did murder Alice Elizabeth Hamilton.
This was Cartman's first appearance in Auckland. The police obtained a remand by consent until May 30.
Mr. F. McCarthy appeared for Cartman.
