ANNUAL MEETING HELD LAST NIGHT.
ARRANGEMENTS FOR SOCIAL EVENINGS.
The annual meeting of the Masterton Little Theatre Society was held last night, the president, Mr H. Mackenzie Douglas, presiding.
The annual report and balance were adopted.
The president read the draft of the constitution of rules and certain small alterations were adopted. It was decided to. incorporate the society under the Incorporated Societies’ Act, 1908.
The election of officers for the ensuing year resulted: President, Mr H. Mackenzie Douglas; vice-president, Mrs E. J. Rich; hon treasurer. Mr C. Kyngdon: hon auditor, Mr A. D. Low; committee. Miss Cruickshank, Mrs Peggy Mirams, Messrs N. Irwin, V. Joseph, J. A. Kennedy. J. Lawson.
It was a recommendation to the incoming committee that bi-monthy social evenings be held. Votes of thanks were accorded the chairman, retiring officers, hon auditor and the Press.
At a subsequent executive meeting, Mr T. E. Handcock was re-elected hon secretary. It was proposed to produce a three-act play in June.
