Blackwater Mines return for April was as follows: —Crushed 4343 tons, yielding 1819 line ounces of gold from all sources, including clean-up of the old mill, the value of which, taking fold at 168 s per ounep. was £15.280. Working expenses, not including ordinary or war gold duty, were £8646. Development expenditure was £667 and capital expenditure £844. Alexander Mines Ltd., reports the following gold returns for the month of April:--Battery department. 150 tons of ore crushed for 29dwts. melted gold. Cyanide department. 20oz. bullion. Toial estimated value. £365. In addition 2'; tons of concentrates was saved containing 17.330?.. valued at £139. in estimating the ;>hnvo value, gold has I’ccn t.’.iren ;u .Li> per one ounce.
