WAGON DERAILED
MORNING DELAY ON HUTT LINE. PASSENGERS CARRIED BY BUS. (By Telegraph—Press Association.) WELLINGTON. This Day. The partial derailment of a goods train from Upper Hutt, near Silverstream. at 2 a.m. caused delays to early passenger traffic. A box wagon loaded with cheese went completely off the rails and the wagon behind was partially derailed. It was not till towards nine o'clock that passengers were carried by rail. A bus service was substituted until that hour. WAIRARAPA TRAIN. DELAY OF ONE & A HALF HOURS. The Wairarapa mail train was delayed on account of the mishap and was running about an hour and a half late when it reached Masterton.
