MOUNTED RIFLES

LAST EVENING’S PARADE.

PRESENTATION TO DEPARTING MEMBERS.

There was a large attendance at a parade of C Squadron. Wellington EastCoast Mounted Rifles, held in the Masterton Drill Hall last night. The usual training was carried out under efficient N.C.O.'s.

After the parade a farewell was given to members of. the squadron who will shortly proceed to camp as members of the Third Echelon.

The presentation of a money-belt was made to each man by Major B. H. Pringle, who wished them the best of luck.

The following members of the squadron received the presentation:— Squad-ron-Quartermaster-Sergeant C. Osborne. Corporal R. G. F. Clark, Troopers E. R. M. Wingate, D. H. Tilvard. J. H. Dowding, and A. G. P. Saunders.
