Mr H. W. Katene, of the Native Land Court. Wellington, is a guest at the Prince of Wales Hotel, Masterton. Messrs J. Raeside, Wellington, and R. Blinkhorn (Palmerston North), are at the Prince of Wales Hotel. Masterton. The Hon. H. T. Armstrong. Minister of Health, left Wellington for Auckland by the Limited express lasi night. The following Masterton recruits are to report at the ground training school at Levin today:—R. J. Smith (pilot). P. H. Millar (observer). Rear-Admiral H. R. Moore has been appointed Lord Commissioner of the Admiralty and Assistant to the Chief of Naval Staff, a London cablegram states. He will take up his duties on July 25. Mr M. B. Igguldcn, Hamilton manager for the New Zealand Loan and Mercantile Agency Co., Ltd., has been appointed acting manager of the Auckland' branch. Mr R. H. Stewart, Auckland, has been appointed to relieve Mr Iggulclen, who is a son of Mr W. Igguldcn. of .Masterton, and formerly resided in this town.
Dr. Ralph G. Park was one of the successful New Zealand candidates in the latest examinations for membership of the Royal College of Physicians. London. Dr. Park, who is a son of Mr and Mrs G. J. Park. Auckland, has been in the service of‘the London County Council for the past three years. After qualifying at Otago Medical School. Dr. Park was on the staff of the Dunedin Hospital.
