BOGEY COMPETITION. The best cards handed in for the Greytown Golf Club’s bogey competition on Saturday were:—E. Williams and J. W. Tate, all square; K. Nix and T. Nelson, 2 down; Ray Ingley, 3 down;A. Oakey and A. Lane, 4 down. The following are the results of the medal round played on Saturday by the lady members of the Greytown Golf Club: —Miss P. Tully, score 95,' handicap 29, total G 6; Mrs Jury, 91, 19. 72; Miss B. Feast, 92, 19, 73; Mrs R. Ingley, 97, 23, 74; Miss Booth, 101, 24, 77; Mrs Thompson, 91, 14, 77; Mrs G. Ingley, 104, 25, 79; Miss Nix, 94, 12, 82; Miss R. Collier, 105, 22. 83; Mrs C. Ingley, 103, 19, 84; Miss Ellmerfs. 129, 36, 93. The Greytown ladies will commence their mid-week competitions on Wednesday. A draw will be made at the clubhouse at 1.15 p.m. Personal Items. Police Constable R. Walden, of Blackball, is spending a few days in Greytown. Mrs E. G. Thomas, of Island Bay, is spending the school holidays at Greytown. Mr Thomas has gone deer stalking in the Hawke’s Bay district.
