“MORNING AFTER” TUMULT AT EXHIBITION PROCESS OF DISPERSAL UNDER WAY. BUSY WEEK OR TWO IN PROSPECT. (By Telegraph—Press Association.) WELLINGTON, This Day. The scene at the Exhibition this morning defied description, lorries and oilier conveyances of all kinds, shapes and sizes joining in a seemingly endless procession through the gates to start the colossal task of clearing up. Soon there was pandemonium within, with the sound of hammers, human voices and tramping feet crea-' ting such a din that it seemed impossible that order could come from such chaos. Yet the outward procession was soon on its way. As a whole, the Exhibition has been a huge bond store. The removal of goods has to be closely supervised and every person removing goods has to go through a clearance process and secure certificates from the administrative office showing that the articles have been cleared of duty.
Today is being devoted to the removal of the smaller types of goods. Heavier articles will be left till clear space is available. Exhibitors have a month in which to effect the removal of goods, but it is expected that a fortnight will see the back of the work broken.
