Rollicker was raced for a few seasons by his breeder, Mi' R. T. Reid, Auckland, but about a year ago ho passed into the hands of R. Barlow, the Now Plymouth trainer, who has raced him a iot, but with moderate success. Lately he lias been running fair races, but Barlow did not support him on Saturday. Of the £25 invested on his win chance there were four £1 tickets and the remainder in 10s investments. A Hawera youth was fortunate enough' to have £2 each way oh him.
