The Champion Hack Plate went to Clinch and the Steeplechase to En Tour, The Steeplechase at the Franklin Racing Club's meeting was accounted for by Dauber and the President’s Handicap by Foxsen. Pink Lad won the Sta’rky Memorial Handicap at the Amberley Racing Club’s meeting which was held at Riccarton. Fidelis brought off a surprise at the Southland Racing Club's meeting by winning the Awarua Handicap. The Steeplechase was won by Gusts,
