SEAMAN INJURED
EXPLOSION ON AMERICAN DESTROYER.

SAN DIEGO, May 2.
An explosion aboard the destroyer Crosby damaged the engineroom and injured a seaman. It was disclosed when she berthed.
The Crosby escorted the British cruiser Caradoc from San Pedro beyond the neutrality zone on April 29. It is not stated whether the explosion occurred while the Crosby was escorting the cruiser.
