HOCKEY

MEN’S ASSOCIATION. REVISION OF CONSTITUTION. A a special general meeting of the Wairarapa Men’s Hockey Association held in the Y.M.C.A. there was a good attendance of delegates, Mr G, Hayne being in the chair. The purpose of the meeting was to revise the Association’s constitution. The ground work of the revision was carried out by a committee consisting of Messrs Hayne, Maloney and Worsfold. This committee’s duties were thoroughly carried out, as practically all the alterations suggested by them were endorsed by the meeting. The meeting also decided to print the Constitution in book form and embody the rules of the game in the book, these books to be sold to members and players according to the cost of printing.

The question of the travelling difficulties of teams owing to petrol restrictions was also discussed and members are asked to do all they can to assist in this direction.
