BUILDING SOCIETY
WORKERS’ MUTUAL BENEFIT,
ALLOCATION BY BALLOT AND SALE.
A general meeting of the shareholders of the No. 2 Workers' Mutual Benefit Building Society was held last evening for the purpose of allocating £4OO by ballot and £4OO by sale in the No. 2 Society, and £BOO by ballot in the B group. Mr. R. Krahagen, chairman, presided over a fair attendance of shareholders. The successful shareholder in the No. 2 Society was Miss B. Spellman, who was declared entitled to an appropriation of £4OO free of interest. A tender of £4O was accepted for the £4OO offered by sale. The successful shareholder in the B group was Mr. F. W. Staples, of Hawera. who was declared entitled to an appropriation of £BOO free of interest.
