This is the story of Lemuel Gulliver, A sailor whose ship in a great storm turns hull over, And who swims and who swims till he slumps on the sand Of the seashore of King Little’s Lilliput Land. Now the people of Lilliput are so very small. They’re as short as your thumb, which is not very tall. But except for their size, they’re like the rest of us. Letting our short tempers just get the best of us. Frinstance, King Little and King Bombo, his friend, For no reason at all, declare war to the end, j Thus they break off the wedding of ! David and Glory, The Prince and the Princess, love birds of the story. King Bombo’s great fleet prepares to attack. Sneak, Snitch and Snoop, alas and alack, King Bombo’s pet spies, and a frightening threesome, Sharpen their wits for the fray very gleesome. When Gabby, the town crier, a choleric fellow, Making his rounds, waves his lantern light yellow, And bumps himself into a mountainous mound. Which, of course, is just Gulliver asleep on the ground. How Gabby and all of King Lillie's wee nation, With Gulliver's aid save the whole situation, Is a thrilling eight reels of love, comedy, danger. Set to wonderful tunes by Leo Robin.
