RAIDS ON NAMSOS
BRITISH DESTROYER BLOWN UP ACCORDING TO SWEDISH NEWSPAPER. REPORTED HEAVY LOSS OF LIFE. By Telegraph—Press Association—Copyright. (Received This Day. 10.40 a.m.) STOCKHOLM. May 1. The “Svenska Dagbladet'' says a British destroyer was blown up during German raids throughout the day at Namsos on April 30. The whole ship was disintegrated when the magazine exploded. ■ Scores of marines and sailors were killed. The Germans lost two planes.
