“OVERCOATS” FOR AEROPLANES. —English girls are at work somewhere in the Midlands in a factory given over to the making of camouflage aeroplane covers. These are of very strong material, similar to that used in the construction of aeroplane wings. The covers act as a protection against all weathers, and envelop the nose, engine, cockpit and fuselage of the machine. The girls were, before the war, employed in a well-known car factory, but they have since been detailed to this important R.A.F. work.
