Van Zeeland, former Prime Minister of Belgium, in a speech, said United States business men might have a decisive role in the post-war reorganisation of world economy on an international basis. He urged that the primary objective should bo the raising of the living standard of the masses. for which reason artificial obstacles hampering the circulation of goods, capital, and men must jbe abated and suppressed. He cited the dangers of concentration of gold in a single country.
