DISPUTE AT MACAO
JAPANESE SEIZE ISLAND. PROTEST BY PORTUGAL. By Telegraph—Press Association—Copyright. (Received This Day 10.20 a.m.) LISBON, April 30. It is officially stated that a clash occurred at Macao between Japanese troops and the local police after the Japanese had occupied an island, the ownership of which has long been disputed between Portugal and China. Portugal is protesting to Japan.
