Saint John. N.B. —The tonnage handled by this port on Canada’s Atlantic seaboard showed an increase of 79 per cent for January. 1940. as compared with the similar period a year ago. Increases were shown in both inward and outward traffic, the combined tonnage totals being 389,306 for the first month of the year.
